Walking Down Memory Lane ... With A Book!

And the books keep coming!  We are five more books closer to reaching our goal!  Look at all the "adventures" we've been having!

As an added note, Belle had to read "The Outsiders" for school and it has been fun watching her discover this incredible novel.  It brings back so many memories.  I was about her age when I read this book for the first time and fell in love with all the characters. Now it's her turn!  Isn't it amazing how books can bring generations together and no matter what the age, we experience and feel the same things.  This is one of the reasons why I love reading.  :)

It's a New Year ... A The Books Keep Coming!

As you can see from the posts, we took a break for a bit but we are back at it! 2015 ended and we welcome 2016 with lots of enthusiasm and hope!  We hoped to finish our "100 Books" goal in 2015 but sometimes life gets in the way.  :)  However, we are a "NEVER QUIT" family so we will continue on and reach the end!

On Our Way To 100 Books

One of our "Dreams Come True" goals is to read 100 books collectively as a family.  This is going to be a challenge but we think we can do it.  Between all of us, that means we all need to read an average of 12.5 books!  However, we all know that we have some in the family that won't read that many.  Time to kick it into gear and get the reading going!  The rest of us will just have to cover the others.
